Chaumont-en-Vexin | December 2011
Here are a few things that would not only spark up a conversation, but we'd probably be friends:
If you have been to Chaumont-en-Vexin, France.
If your Sunday night revolves around watching the latest episode of The Walking Dead.
If going to local coffee shops and playing card games is your idea of a fun afternoon.
If you know of and love Dallas Green and/or Max Bemis.
If you regularly go to craft stores.
If you grew up in Maryland, or spent a summer in Ocean City.
If you have seen the movie The Chumscrubber.
If you believe Australian Shepherds are the best dogs ever.
If you collect rocks and minerals.
If your favorite way to catch up on current events is to watch The Rachel Maddow Show or listen to NPR.
If classical music doesn't bore you.
♥ Do we have any of these in common?
I used to spend EVERY summer in Ocean City! My parents bought a condo down there when I was two and we had it until my junior year of high school. I really miss it.
ReplyDeleteI pretty much listen to WNYC/NPR all day every day. I tried to carpool with someone from work, but he made jokes about me listening to the news and we haven't driven in together again, lol.
The Rambling Fangirl
My parents bought a condo there too! I miss those Ocean City summer nights...
DeleteHow lame! Who doesn't love a little NPR on a morning commute?
I love that we have those two things in common :)
I saw Danielle do this and thought it was a fun idea! I love your list of things! I'm so with you on The Walking Dead, hanging out in coffee shops, going to craft stores, collecting rocks (I have a rock from when I was in the desert in Israel), and love listening to classical music!

So, we pretty much have everything in common! I love that! Seriously, you are one of the coolest people I've talked to.
DeleteYou've been to Israel? I would love to see pictures. That sounds like it would have been an interesting trip :)
I feel like i scored pretty well on this! But also i'm seeing Dallas Green/ C&C live next week and i am so freaking excited! Also playing card games in cozy coffee shops is actually my beyond perfect afternoon/ day/ morning.

I'm jealous! I already saw him this tour, but I want to see him again... and again ;) I can't wait to hear about it. Let me know what you think of his set. It's rare to find another card game lover. It's awesome that we share similar interests!
DeleteIt is good news that The Walking Dead, hanging out in coffee shops, going to craft stores, collecting rocks. This season is perfect for these things. :)

ReplyDeleteALL CAPS = COMPLETELY NECESSARY! Did you watch Talking Dead after?
DeleteIt was the craziest episode ever. I don't want to wait until February for it to start back up again.
You like The Walking Dead so now we are officially friends :)
