"We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven; that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield."

Ulysses by Alfred, Lord Tennyson

Today I had Skyfall on while I waited for the pest control guy. One of my favorite parts is when M recites the last few lines of Ulysses. Jason and I are planning a trip to London next year, so I have been in a James Bond phase.

Little things like cinnamon in my coffee, a notebook to doodle and write in, and a new marble wallpaper for my phone is what makes the now so special. Today is wonderful, and I am soaking up every beautiful minute of it.

  1. Oh how I love Tennyson. This post was a beautiful wake up for a rainy morning.

    1. Aw, you are so sweet. It was raining when I took these pictures. ♥

  2. I like to make soy pumpkin lattes and sprinkle cinnamon on top. :) Or soy chai w/ cinnamon. In fact, I want to go make one now thanks to your beautiful pictures!

    1. That sounds amazing! I will have to try to make a soy pumpkin latte sometime. ♥

  3. Please pack me in your suitcase! I am dying to see London!
