On My Vanity + A Few Faves

We spent our weekend in Los Angeles driving around with the windows rolled down, listening to Belle & Sebastian, and revisiting our favorite hidden gems around the city. On the drive home back to Phoenix Black Betty (our Prius) broke down. It was an adventure to find our way home, but we made it back safe and sound. Luckily the issue with our car was a recall so it was covered by Toyota.

I felt inspired by all the little loot that traveled back home with us. First of all, I'm in love with the yellow flowers called craspedia (I prefer the other names: billy balls or billy buttons). Also on my vanity is frankie magazine, which I mentioned previously, and it has become a new favorite read. Next would be the cute thought bubble sticky notes to jot down ideas or quotes. The little pink book is Love Poems by Pablo Neruda, in case you were interested.

♥ What are some of your new faves?

P.S. I can't stop listening to Lucy Rose.

  1. Awesome! I had to leave my vanity behind when I moved...I miss it!

    I love those flowers!

My boyfriend got me an awesome ring this weekend and it's definitely a new favorite. I haven't taken it off and don't plan to. It's really special to me.

    1. I just had my first cup of tea in it yesterday. It's fun to have a floral design on the inside bottom of the mug :)

  5. I've always wanted a vanity! I love yours - so elegant. I take no time to get ready (advantage of and why I have a pixie) so I dont really NEED one, but i do love them

    1. We have a tiny bathroom, so it's nice when both of us are trying to get ready. This is my first go at one, and I have to say it makes something as small as putting on makeup a little more fun :)
