Senses + Windsor

Sight. Jason, his mother, and I saw Les Misérables last night, and it was an extremely moving film. I was truly stunned by Anne Hathaway, and Eddie Redmayne was absolutely brilliant. It has inspired me to learn more about the French Revolution.

Scent. A couple months ago my signature scent, Lovestruck by Vera Wang, ran out. I received some money in my Christmas stocking this year, and to my surprise eBay had an amazing deal: I got over three times as much for half the price. I might be sounding a tad braggy, but I'm kind of an online shopper newbie.

Sound. "Kids" by MGMT. I'm really into them right now. Is it weird that their music is fitting with the chilly winter air?

Taste. If you live anywhere near the Downtown Phoenix area: stop what you're doing and go to Windsor located on Central Ave. near Camelback Rd. Not only is the food amazing, but it's locally grown. The atmosphere is amazing with the wood burning stove, stringed lights, and the best music selection I've ever heard outside of my Bon Iver station on Pandora.

Touch. A coffee cup in one hand and Domino magazine in the other: life is good.

♥ What are your favorite senses of the week? Happiest weekend wishes to you lovelies!

    1. I know me too! I haven't read the book, but I saw the play first. It's always a good idea to read the book first.

  3. Is it a long movie? For some reason I imagine it to be. I'm usually afraid to go see those in theaters, because I start feeling restless after about 2 hours. I'm glad it's getting great reviews, though. I'll definitely have to check it out!

    1. It is a little over 2 and a half hours, so it's on the longer side. Let me know what you think after you see it :)
