Rope + Feel Good Films

About three months ago we built our cats a cat tree. Well, we mainly made it for us because she {Farrah} was going to rip up our couch. The rope was recently carpet, but they ripped through it to the bone. Last night we re-wrapped it with rope from Home Depot, and just put a few staples in {using a staple gun}. We thought that building it would be cheaper than buying one from PetSmart, but it turned out to cost exactly the same, even though we bought the cheapest carpet and got a small cable spool for free {the bottom that looks like a cylinder}. With that being said, it's still cooler to make something than to buy it {in my opinion}. They are happy, so we are happy :)

{Feel Good Films}

1. Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back

2. Hocus Pocus

3. The Goonies

4. Tommy Boy

5. Nick + Norah's Infinite Playlist

These movies are tried and true to perk me up :) Does anybody have any movie(s) that just simply makes them feel good?

  2. I love all the movies on your list! Hocus Pocus always makes me laugh and Goonies is just awesome in every way. We had to make our cats a scratcher too. When we first built it they weren't quite sure what to do with it so we sprinkled a little cat nip on it. Now they won't leave it alone!

  4. I don't know most of the films but maybe that has to do with living in Germany and generally not knowing that many films^^

    I could always watch Ballet Shoes (with Emma Watson^^) and Pirates of the Carribbean. And Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone!

    1. I love Harry Potter! That would make me "feel good" as well :) I would love to visit Germany again. I went once when I was very young, and I don't remember much of it.
