Independence Day

Fisherman's Castle - Irish Bayou, Louisiana

Piedmont Park - Atlanta, Georgia

Auguste Rodin, The Shade - High Museum of Art

Rockspinner 'Kinetic sculpture' - Zachary Coffin

Friday morning, Jason and I went to Atlanta, Georgia for Independence Day. The city is full of beautiful architecture, great coffee, and sweet people. We tried two new coffee houses: Aurora Coffee and Hodgepodge Coffee. Most of the time there was spent walking around Piedmont Park, shopping for vinyl, and moving a 22,000-pound boulder. If you want to read up on the Rockspinner, you can do so here. It was the perfect trip, and now I am bursting with new inspiration.

I travel.
I become."

  3. Oh, this is beautiful. I love love love Atlanta. Such a wonderful culture there... big city life but feels more laid back. I will try those coffee shops when I next visit/possibly move there.
