As soon as they finished cooking Jason and I snacked on them hot off the tray. These are what was left over, and they are just as good the next day.
So, I've never cooked sweet potatoes before, and I saw this recipe in Women's Health magazine and I thought I'd give it a go. In attempt 1: they turned out great, but they were way too spicy for me. After one bite I couldn't handle anymore. In attempt 2: I tried it again with just a pinch of cayenne pepper, and 1 tsp of the smoked paprika instead of 2, and they were perfecto! Let me know if you give this a try.

If we didn't live on opposite sides on the country I would totally make extra for you ;)
DeleteThey look amazing!! Thanks for sharing the recipe....and getting Jason to eat sweet potatoes....;-)
ReplyDeleteHe actually liked it! He wanted them crispier, so I'm going to look into a healthy way of doing that :)
DeleteI love sweet potato fries! They are seriously so good. I could eat tons. Sometimes we make them without the spice and just LOTS of butter and it is like heaven on a plate.
ReplyDeleteThat does sound like heaven on a plate ;)
DeleteThose look so good - but I never end up liking sweet potato :(
