Hello, I Love You + Chickenpox

Hello, fellow bloggers! I've missed you all so much. Indeed, it's true, at 24 I got chickenpox. I never had it when I was little, and it's been two weeks and it's not over yet. For the most part I look less like a zombie, and more like a human being again. I've felt so loved by my family and friends. My sister sent me beautiful flowers, everyone has called, texted, or left notes for me, and Jason has done absolutely anything and everything to make me smile. I can't wait to get out in the real world. Luckily there is one activity that occurs indoors that is beyond fun, and only happens once a year: decorating for Christmas. Jason picked out the perfect tree and it was such a mood lifter to hang all the ornaments. We made an whimsical bow to put on top, and it's not only bright, but oh so cheerful.

♥ What is your favorite part of decorating for Christmas?

P.S. I decided to give Tumblr a go.

  2. Yikes!! Chickenpox does not sound fun at all. I'm glad to hear you're better though!
Fortunately, I had that as a child (though I have no memory of it...so I do hope I had it!).

    1. It seems like everybody got it when they were a child! I've heard that some parents have a "pox party" so children can get it over with when they are young.
