Currently + Shamy

{Loving} I love the weekends because Jason and I have been starting a new tradition of going to brunch. If we don't have any specific plans for after we usually go and get coffee and play cards. We took a break from doing that for a couple weeks, but now we are back to it.

{Reading} I'm reading over my Psychology notes (I know... how exciting). I have my first test coming up next week, so I'm trying to live + breathe all this information. Tomorrow I am thinking about reading something a little more fun.

{Watching} We have been watching a lot of The Big Bang Theory. This is definitely my favorite show ever! This show isn't new to me, but we are watching it again and I'm thinking season four and five are my favorite because I love Sheldon + Amy together {aka Shamy}. We are going to try to be a part of the audience in the next season. It would be amazing to see everything in person.

{Thinking about} Jason graduates from Arizona State University for Mechanical Engineering in December. He is going to start applying for jobs next month. He is focusing on finding jobs in England, preferably London. I've been thinking about what it will be like to move to another country. I am nervous to go to school in another country. I know it won't be that different because it will be the same language, but I guess I just don't know what to expect. No matter what it will be an amazing experience, and I can't wait for what will be the biggest adventure of our lives.

{Anticipating} I can't wait to watch the Presidential debates. The first one is on October 3rd. I love hearing President Obama's speeches.

{Listening to} Lately I've been listening to more NPR. It's a nice way to stay knowledgable about what's going on in the world, especially when I don't have much extra time.

{Wishing} I hope that we are able to go to Flagstaff this weekend for a hike. We haven't been hiking in such a long time! It might be time to wear a hoodie up there, which would make it a double whammy.

{Making me happy} I'm addicted to Home Goods. They have everything there! It makes me so happy every time. I can't wait to finish some of the craft projects I started last weekend.

Thank you to Danielle at Sometimes Sweet for the idea for this post. What are you currently into? ♥

  4. You should check out this interview with Michael Lewis on NPR! He talks all about spending six months traveling with/getting to know President Obama. It was such a great listen. :)

    1. That's so exciting that you moved to Taiwan! I think I might take you up on that advice. How long did it take you to adjust in a different culture?

    1. I know what you mean. When you both have busy schedules it's really important to have something that you do together every week that you can look forward to.

      I loved your blog :)

I'm anxiously waiting for the Presidential debates as well! I totally enjoy hearing President Obama speak. He has a charisma and a presence that draws me in! Plus, I really love seeing him and the FLOTUS together. If only all married couples could look as amazing and doting as they do together! =)

  13. I've never been to Home Goods...but one is opening soon just a few blocks from my house. Dangerous? (probably)

The education system in Europe/UK is different, but the outside the classroom lessons make up for any academic awkwardness, in my humble estimation. London is one of my very favorite cities.

(one little note - I'm not sure what your history is with spam, but it would be nice to be able to post anonymously or using name and URL, since none of the given options suit my situation - self-hosted wordpress blog. Just a thought!)
