Currently + Wishful Adventures

From left: my mom, my dad, Mrs. Luana, Mr. Evan, and yours truly. When I lived in Maryland Evan + Luana Byington were our neighbors from across the street. They were in town so I met them at my parent's house. I used to go over to their house when I was little to watch Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. I was so happy to see them!

{Loving} I love that The Hunger Games is now on DVD. The book is amazing, and the movie is great too. I need to finish reading the trilogy.

{Reading} Janson's History of Art: Eighth Edition. It's my Art History text book. I have the longest list of books I want to read, but I haven't had the time. I think I might find some time on Friday to dip into one.

{Watching} We've been catching up on Weeds Season 8. I already like this season better than the last one. I can't believe who shot her! I didn't see that coming.

{Thinking about} I've been thinking a lot about our trip to New York and how much I miss it there. The heat here in the Valley is really taking a toll on me, and I miss being able to walk outside comfortably. I can't wait until we move!

{Surprised by} I can't believe how much I love the morning. I used to hate waking up early, and a couple months ago would have classified myself as a night owl. I'm more of a morning bird now :) Jason and I have our coffee with a side of Boy Meets World.

{Working on} A little project with a world map and a cork board. I want to frame a map of the world that is on top of a cork board with different color pins. One pin is for places we've been and the other is for places we want to go. I have a lot of places I want to have adventures in.

{Anticipating} Our next adventure! It could be as simple as a new museum, or coffee shop. I need to do some research for something fun for us to do.

{Wishing} I'm wishing that we can plan a trip to San Francisco, California before the end of the year. I've always wanted to go there, and we can break up the 12 hour drive by stopping at my brother's house in LA.

{Making me happy} Yoplait light Boston Cream Pie is so yummy, and it's only 90 calories. It doesn't get more perfect than that.

Thank you to Danielle from Sometimes Sweet for the inspiration for this post. What are you currently up to? Let me know in the comments ♥

  1. I love The Hunger Games too!

You should definitely go to San Francisco! I have been there 3 times now and I want to go back next year. I have family there and some of them visited the UK this past month, which was lovely.

Oh gosh, that yoghurt sounds divine, wish we could get them in the UK!

    1. I'm starting to save up this week so we can go! San Francisco looks so friendly, and fun. It also makes me think of the television show Full House. I used to watch that all the time when I was little. There is this hill that over looks the bridge that I'm dying to roll around on :)

  4. What a nice visit that must have been with your past neighbors! I too have to finish the Hunger Games Trilogy. I read the first book and saw the movie this summer and loved them. Great idea for the map on a cork board!

  5. I love the Hunger Games, read all the books too. I still have to decide if I actually want to buy the movie though, I saw it in the theater, just more wondering if I'll watch it. hahaha.

  6. Hey those Byington people are pretty cute! :-) I bought the Hunger Games the day it was released. Now we get to watch it in our home theater room! Go to my blog and check it out. It is AWESOME! We love watching movies in there and eating junk food! With all those adventures you are talking about taking, you need to make sure one of them is to Lehi Utah so you can spend some time with us! :-)

    1. They are pretty cute ;) I'd love to come visit! I'm thinking when this semester is over we will have to take a trip up to Utah and see what this theater room is all about.

  7. Ah, I'm watching Weeds now, too. I LOVE the show but I'm really disappointed with the way it's been. It's the final season (three episodes left!) and nothing MAJOR has really happened, besides finding out who got shot and who shot her.
I need to buy The Hunger Games, gah. SUCH a great movie!
