Sparklers + Piers Morgan

On the morning of the Fourth of July we drove out to Palm Springs to start our extra long weekend in California. That night we tried to pin down where some fireworks could be, but they were so sporadic that we only saw a few here and there. Luckily Jason and I brought some sparklers! It was still a fun night. Earlier that day we went swimming for the first time this summer. Splashing around and playing volleyball made it for one fun day in the sun. Later that night we watched The Twilight Zone marathon, and my brother drove down to meet us from LA.

We took a walk around the neighborhood we were staying at in Palm Springs. I had to take a photo of all these beautiful colors.

Goofing around town is our favorite thing to do. This was also on our walk :)

Mary Pickford is an old silent film actress from the early 1900's, and this theatre was named after her. We saw The Amazing Spiderman. I really liked it! Andrew Garfield is a much better Peter Parker than Tobey Maguire, in my opinion.

We always take photos with Lola. She is so cute! It helped being around such a snuggly pup while we had to be apart from Joker.

We went out to brunch at this cute french bistro place in Los Angeles, and sitting directly to my right was Piers Morgan. We used to watch America's Got Talent before he left the show. It was so exciting! You can tell by looking at my face that I'm trying to act all cool, and hold in all my huge smiles.

*I have a great video from my brother's new house he is renovating right in Los Angeles. It's in La Fayette Square, and absolutely beautiful. I will be posting that soon!

Hope everyone had a great weekend :) Did anyone go out of town, or do anything special?

  1. Amazing pictures! When I saw the first picture of the dog, I made a double-take because I thought it was a raccoon! I just spent the weekend with my brother, but it was a good weekend.
