Senses Saturday + A Thought of Baloo

{Sight} I'm reading the second book of The Hunger Games trilogy, "Catching Fire" by Suzanne Collins.

{Scent} Nature's Wick candle in Vanilla Dolce from Target. The wooden wick crackles as it burns, and it sounds like a campfire.

{Sound} Jason Mraz's second album "Mr. A-Z" is amazing. My two favorite songs are "Life is Beautiful" and "Geek in the Pink". He reminds me of our wedding. When our friends and family walked down the aisle "I'm Yours" was playing on the loud speaker. It also reminds me of listening to him with Jason, my Father-in-Law Mark, and his girlfriend. All good memories.

{Taste} I've been on a banana kick lately. I like to wake up with a cup of coffee and a yummy banana. It makes me think of Baloo from The Jungle Book.

{Touch} I've been wearing a beautiful necklace that my parents got me when they were in Italy. It is a Cameo carved out of a shell from Naples. The Cameo is of Minerva which is the Roman version of the Greek goddess Athena.
