TGIF + Friday Favorites

The closest magazine stand that carries frankie is in Los Angeles. The hubby and I are taking a little road trip there next weekend, so hopefully I can pick a copy up then.

Thank you, Netflix. I swear, I have fallen in love with this show. I have never seen a better Sherlock. Let's face it, Khan and Bilbo solving crime together is enough to make any nerdy girl swoon.

Once again, California has everything! The nearest David's Tea location is in San Francisco. There in lies the beauty of online shopping, but hopefully I will visit the real thing later this summer.

This is dinosaur kale. I'm in the mood to try new vegetables, and the name was far too enticing. To Whole Foods I go!

When I was little I thought my dad was Peter Pan. I'll never forget when I asked him, because his middle name is Peter, if he was the leader of the Lost Boys. Of course he said no, but then he flew across the room and told me to keep it secret. I'm definitely reading it this summer.

♥ Happy Friday lovelies! What are your current favorites?

Leona + Best Day Ever

Leona
May 21, 2013
3:31pm
6 pounds 11 ounces

I feel so lucky to have such a beautiful and healthy niece! I was able to be in the delivery room to watch her birth. It was the most amazing experience, and a day that I will never forget. It touched my heart when the doctor asked my sister Michelle how she felt after, and she simply replied, "lucky". I cannot wait to take photos of Leona and her mommy. I have a feeling that Leona's feet will never touch the ground. I could hold her forever.

♥ Have you ever watched a birth?

The Last Thing + A Beautiful Mess App

I'm loving the new app by Elsie + Emma from A Beautiful Mess.

The last thing...

that I laughed at was Comedy Central's Inside Amy Schumer. I have not laughed that hard in a long time. She is hilarious.

that I watched was the HBO series Girls season one. So, Lena Dunham is a pretty awesome lady. I cannot wait to watch season two.

that I bought were peonies from Trader Joe's. I was so surprised to see them! I have been looking for them everywhere.

that I drank was a Starbucks latte. Honestly, it's my life juice.

that I smiled at was a 74-point triple-letter double word on Words with Friends. I had a "j".

that I listened to was the new She & Him Volume 3 album. I cannot wait to see them in concert in June. I'm so excited!

that I thought about was that my sister Michelle's due date is less than a week away. I already know that it is going to be the most magical day.

that I planned was a coffee date with my dad tomorrow morning. I love talking about books and history. I always leave learning something.

that I wished for was house in our dream neighborhood. I'm pretty sure that I would be most content living in a gingerbread house.

that I read was The Great Gatsby. I am so happy that I decided to read the book first. I saw the movie right after, which was also very good. Yesterday I picked up my second novel of the summer: The Picture of Dorian Gray.

♥ Have you tried the new app by A Beautiful Mess?

P.S. Let's be friends.

Inspiration + Friday I'm In Love

I'm adding Disneyland to my summer must list.

I'm in a vintage t-shirt kind of mood.

I love little, hidden tattoos. This one makes me smile.

Ranunculus are so beautiful. I'm in search for some in the Phoenix area.

Put a bird on it.

♥ It's time for the weekend. What are your plans?

Hello, May + Little Wish List

1 2 3 4 5

Summer break has officially begun! All my finals are done, and papers have been turned in. I can not wait to spend the summer by the pool, Starbucks in hand, and a classic novel in the other. I'm almost half way done with The Great Gatsby, and I love it. I know it was published in 1925, but please no spoilers.

Who is excited The Great Gatsby on the big screen May 10th? What is on your May wish list?
